Opinionated!! THE TOP 5 Female MCs by Tay Tay of TAYLAND PROMOTIONS


Top 5 Female MCs in my opinion and in no particular order.

1. Jaydee- Polo this Polo that!! Hahaha. I love my girl Jaydee, every song is catchy but not annoying and I know almost all of them. Her performances are more like a damn party then a concert. If you haven't seen Jaydee perform you NEED to, its an experience!

2. DGK- Only female rapper to make me cry, her songs are her life stories and they hit home with me bigtime. She has grown alot as an artist and I am exited to see her go far.

3. Mia Lone- Shocked the hell out of EVERYONE in attendance at Queen of the mic 3, myself included. Cute blond white chick with girl next door looks, and people was like, huh? But she then opened her mouth and killed the show with her flow and stage presence! If you ask me people are really sleeping on this one!

4.Miss Cream- Can sign, rap, act and drop it like its hot!! haha....for real tho, another one that I have had the pleasure to see grow as an artist. Its always a good show if Miss Cream is on the bill. Mad professional, never bitchy about set times or this and that and great tickets sales,you know what that means...grinding!

5.Tiffany Couture- Dope artist and performer. I feel like we are sisters, in the way that when I started promoting and booking she started performing. So we have grown together. I remember when she used to wear sun glasses and lots of clothes like she was tryin to hide, now she owns the stage in every performance. Al Shiply even wrote about Tiff in the city paper saying she could give Rye Rye a run for her money.

  7. No ur wack. She don't gotta like the same ppl u like. Make ur own list then dummy. That's y its called a opinion. But n e ways I love Cream. She versatile and she bring something different to the mix. I have yet to see a local rapper go in on stage the way she do. I first seen her perform in January and I been a fan since then. Definitely rides with her. N Cream if u see this: I LOVEEEEEE U. Swagga on a trillion.

  9. People get so mad, because of MY OPINIONS...Yep, thats Bmore. Haha... Jade Fox is the front woman of an incredible band and movement. Yes, she is an incredibly dope emcee and should be in the top listed female emcees, however, I know what the Rebel Nation means to her. They are ONE. To single her out, I FEEL (IN MY OPINION) would have been unfair to her band/family, much like what was done to Gwen Stefani and No Doubt and NUMEROUS other bands. I gave MY TOP 5 Solo female emcees. Not that I owe anyone any explanation for MY OPINION, But I do feel I owe this to Jade Fox. And to those saying I picked my friends, please tell me the last time you seen me hanging out, chillin, or even in pix with any of my picks. I support EVERYONE...And I do mean EVERYONE. I stand by my list...OR I WOULD HAVE BEEN ANONYMOUS ALSO. Thank you all.

I agree with Tay's list, Only one I might have changed because I haven't seen her perform is Mia and I would have put Shy Lady but still a toss because I like Jade Fox for this list too....oh well can't have all 7 for the top 5, although they all get it in...Keep up the profound work ladies...xoxo

  13. Great List, and I've never heard of Mia Lone, someone forward me to her...or ma=ybe I'll google her.

    My List:

    1: Symph of Get Em Mamis: hands down the dopest
    2: Silhouette: her voice is like butter on tracks.
    3: Si Notes: the popular pick, but she really gets it in and has one of my favorite songs of the year with "Have Fun"
    4: Shy Lady Heroin: she's just dope and always sounds hungry, no pun intended
    5: Tiffany Couture: I remember years ago when she used to perform all dressed up in shades like Tay Tay says, I wish she would put out more music though, or maybe I'm just not privy to hear it, lol

    I don't have Jade Fox in my top 5 either, shes good, but she kind of bores me. She gets honorable mention but she just doesn't do it for me. And in stead of hating on someones picks, make your own!
